Office/Viewing Hours around Independence Day

Heads up tenants, prospective tenants, vendors, and anyone else who may attempt to contact 574 3rd St. – Central Apartments over the next week. Our office, viewing, and maintenance departments will all be receiving a much deserved holiday on Tuesday, July 4th, 2017, in honor and observance of Independence Day.

That, however, is not the reason behind this post, as most everyone will have off on Indepence Day. (Shoutout to on-site employees, bartenders, cooks, waiters/waitresses, Sunset Scavenger Company employees (trash/recycle/compost workers who, like, never get a day off), retail workers and every/anyone else stuck working on the 4th.)

Due to Independence Day falling on a Tuesday, I put in a request for a vacation day on Monday, 07/03, months ago. Our G.M./Maintenance Supervisor Ken Karp nixed that plan though, as he was planning a vacation during the week of Independence Day.
Ken’s plans, however, had to be canceled due to a major flare-up of a long-ago back injury.
So then I re-requested my vacation day for Monday, figuring that since Ken would be here, that a lot of you are similarly taking off Monday for an extra-long weekend, my presence would hardly be missed.
However, Ken Karp went and made new plans for Monday, and since I had already booked and arranged my…yeah, tl;dr, but short story unnecessarily long, there will be no middle-upper Management types here on Monday, 07/03. Which means…

1). If you submit a service request through the portal or drop one into our drop slot, it will not be received until Wednesday, 07/05.* Hence, if you have a lingering issue in your home, or a potential issue (like, say, one of two light bulbs in your overhead lights are out), please submit your service request on Friday or Saturday so I can inform Hector Chavez and Milt Phelps to resolve your issue on Monday, 07/03 or Wednesday, 07/05.

2). If you submit your rental payment via a tangible, physical means (personal check, bank check, money order, cashier’s check) between Saturday, 07/01 @ about 2:30 pm thru Thursday, 07/06, it WILL NOT BE CASHED. Please make sure your account has enough funds to cover your monthly charge! (Now may be a good time to create an account with Appfolio, our property software, if you haven’t already. Portal payments are not affected by my absence.)

Office/viewing hours from Friday, 06/30, thru Thursday, 07/06, are as follows:
Friday, 06/30: 9: 00 am – 6:00 pm
Saturday, 07/01: 11:00 am – 3:00 pm (Open House from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm)
Sunday, 07/02: Office, viewing, maintenance departments closed (as per usual)
Monday, 07/03: Office/viewing closed. Maintenance department sans maintenance supervisor Ken Karp WILL be available. You can reach Milt at (415) 981-2605.
Tuesday, 07/04: Office, viewing, maintenance departments closed in observation of Independence Day
Wednesday, 07/05: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Reminder, Maximilian Michael Andres Hoffman, your Property/Office/Resident Manager, and lead leasing agent, will be unavailable as Wednesdays are one of my two days off.
Thursday, 07/06: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm aka normal consciousness will be resumed.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you in advance for your patience and understanding during this timeframe.

Maximilian Michael Andres Hoffman – Property Manager

keep cool but care

*Ken & I are debating whether or not to provide Milt a key to the drop slot. If we do, then some of my worries above about service requests will be allayed.

Originally "The Central Hotel", built by Edward Rolkin in 1907, 574 3rd St: Central Apartments used to consist of 440 small rooms and several storefronts across the first floor, including a large saloon and dining room. Currently family-owned and managed, over the past 44-years Central Apartments has been converted to the thriving multi-family apartment community it is today. Couple constant upgrades and renovations with astute attention to detail and CNT is now a bona fide fixture of the SoMa/South Beach area, a multi-family apartment community that features a total of 102 apartments. From our smallest studios to our two studios with storage lofts to our two junior one-bedrooms to our one-bedrooms to our one two-bedroom, all our apartments are wired for high-speed internet and boast updated plumbing lines and electrical fixtures. Combine that with our usual apartment amenities - granite countertops, hardwood floors (entry, living room, bedroom), granite tile floors (kitchen and bathroom), gas stoves, range hoods, sturdy cabinetry, along with the fact that we include all utilities (excluding internet and cable service) with the monthly rental charge? Located three blocks from Giants Stadium, Chase Center right up the way and practically across the street from the lush oasis of South Park, we boast a perfect 100 Transit Score.
