Six-month – 12-month leases
All Security Deposits are $1,000.00, providing applicant(s) have solid credit and residence history. We have never charged more than $2,000.00 for a security deposit.

Yes, we are a RENT CONTROLLED BUILDING! Should you be new to San Francisco, or if you live in the City and don’t know what that entails, please do not hesitate to ask. We were once told by a sage teacher or lawyer that rent control buildings in San Francisco have 200 more pages of rules & regulations than our non-rent control counterparts. I think they may have been underestimating that number.

Coin-operated washers and dryers on-site. There is a public laundromat on the first floor facing 3rd St., and all three floors have auxiliary laundry rooms/laundry closets. These laundry closets are currently being upgraded from the third floor down. Here’s a look at the third-floor laundry closet. The second-floor machines were replaced and upgraded in 2018, and we should have the first-floor machines upgraded at some point and time.

ALL of our apartments are wired for Webpass, MonkeyBrains, AT&T, Comcast, and Direct TV

Complete applications are processed in the order we receive them. First come, first served

$35.00 fee, for each person on the lease, to run a credit check and background check. No exceptions, even if you have your own credit report. Cash not accepted. Please make payments to “CENTRAL APARTMENTS”

Yes, you can submit an application online! However, we do not rent site/sight unseen, and we need to know which apartment you are interested in renting before sending you a link to our online portal

Originally "The Central Hotel", built by Edward Rolkin in 1907, 574 3rd St: Central Apartments used to consist of 440 small rooms and several storefronts across the first floor, including a large saloon and dining room. Currently family-owned and managed, over the past 44-years Central Apartments has been converted to the thriving multi-family apartment community it is today. Couple constant upgrades and renovations with astute attention to detail and CNT is now a bona fide fixture of the SoMa/South Beach area, a multi-family apartment community that features a total of 102 apartments. Located three blocks from Giants Stadium, Chase Center right up the way and practically across the street from the lush oasis of South Park, we boast a perfect 100 Transit Score.
